The Only Difference Between Success and Failure

You currently might be in a rut in your life financially, physically, mentally, or spiritually. It seems like you just can’t get your goals accomplished and what you need done isn’t being finished on time.

What if I told you one rule is the only thing that will guarantee that you will get what you want in amounts greater than you ever thought possible. This rule can and will work in all areas of life.

This book is called The 10X Rule and written by Grant Cardone. If you don’t know who Grant is, go look him up. This guy eats, breaths, and sleeps the 10X rule. He is arguably one of the best salesman on the planet, owns thousands of apartment buildings, and is currently 61 but has the energy of a puppy on drugs.

I have read some of his books, taken a few of his courses, watch his YouTube videos, and implement the 10X rule into my life everyday. He’s a legend in the sales and real estate game, and truly a great teacher. I would highly recommend getting anything that he has put out. I could do an individual blog post on every chapter from this book. For now though, I’m just going to talk about a few points.

What is the 10X Rule?

I mentioned it above briefly at the beginning but to go into more depth, The 10X Rule is based on understanding how much effort and thought is required to get anything done successfully. If you look back at your life, there are probably moments where you highly underestimated how much effort it would take to make it successful. I can’t lie and say I’ve never underestimated the effort it would take to achieve something at a high level.

The 10X Rule is applied by thinking and acting in a completely different way than you have previously. No one will get to the next level in anything without putting in more effort. Not putting forth enough action towards our goals is why we don’t achieve them.

Success Is Your Duty

We were all born to be great. Every individual on this planet has something inside of them to achieve excellence in their life. Look at success as a must instead of an option and you will shift your mind and actions into greatness. If you treat success as an option, you won’t ever reach your full potential. Treat success as a must not only for you, but for your marriage, religion, family, and community.

Success is your duty, obligation, and responsibility.

Treat it as such and you will accomplish great things in life.

Fear is The Great Indicator

Everyone experiences fear in their life. It’s a natural human emotion. Some say it could be fake.

I’ve seen fear stand for a couple things, ‘False Events Appearing Real’, ‘Face Everything And Rise’, or ‘Forget Everything and Run’.

When you experience fear coming on, it’s a sign that you’re moving in the right direction. Keep going or quit and live with regret. The choice is ultimately yours.

When you experience fear, last-minute preparation is an excuse to put that task off and for those who haven’t trained properly. So make that call to the big client. Email, text, and call that prospect all on the same day. Like Nike says, Just Do It.

If you don’t experience any fear, the amount of action you’re putting in isn’t enough.

Final Thoughts

This blog is just a small piece of value compared to what the book actually brings. This book is one of my favorites that I have read and believe it’s a must read.

Set unreasonable goals and overcommit to them. Go all in on every area of your life and see where you end up. I would imagine it would be pretty awesome.

Success is your duty, obligation, and responsility!

Thanks and Be Great,
