The Power of Daily Affirmations

I am dumb.

I am not good enough.

I am not good at math.

I am grateful for my life.

I am an example of excellence.

I am loved by many.

I am _________.

Two words that might be the most powerful in the English language.

As you read the sentences, they all start with I am, but it’s what comes afterwards is what makes or breaks the two words.

The thing with I am sentences is this is what we say about ourselves on a daily basis.

What you think about yourself comes out when you say “I am __________.”

The problem lies in the fact that we have the freedom and power to choose how we talk to ourselves.

If we shift our mindset on really listening to what we say about ourselves, the way we think drastically changes.

We have an incredible power to say great things about ourselves whether it’s present or future tense, but we decide on negative words.

The words we say about ourselves eventually become reality. It goes both ways, if you say positive uplifting sayings about yourself, you will become it.

“I am going to be the top manager in the company one day.”

“I am next year’s starting quarterback.”

“I am the next Jeff Bezos of Amazon.”

With the power of choice and realizing the power of our words, we can break the limiting beliefs we have.

Eventually and after time of saying it enough, you will begin to believe what you’re saying. Positivity grows and attracts to other positive energy, and negativity finds negative energy.

If you have positive I am statements and energy, other positive people will find you.

Make It A Daily Habit

The thing with I am statements is it can’t be done once a week, month, or whenever you just feel like it.

It’s an every day habit instilled into your life.

The positive change you will see over the course of a few weeks or a month is incredible, and that’s only starting out.

I’ve been saying my own I am statements every morning to reminder myself who I am and what I want to become.

Here are the I am statements of mine:

  • I am incredibly wealthy in all areas of my life
  • I am representing winning at all times
  • I am living a life of massive abundance
  • I am extremely energetic and passionate about the things I love in my life
  • I am living a life of continuous growth
  • I am a lifelong learner
  • I am a natural born leader
  • I am living a life of immense gratitude
  • I am living a life of serving and helping others in anyway possible
  • I am unbelievably confident in myself in everything I do
  • I am a badass!

Your I am statements are the story you give yourself, so make it a positive one.

Here’s a great example of daily affirmations from a little girl who is going to absolutely crush it every single day:

Speak the things you are and want to be into existence. They will come true.

Thanks and be Great,
